The Ceremony to Commemorate the Sister School Agreement was Held in Heidelberg University

　2023年7月20日（木）午前10:00よりハイデルベルク大学（ドイツ）において、2023年3月1日付けで締結したハイデルベルク大学歯学部と本学との姉妹校協定を記念するセレモニーが開催された。セレモニーには、ハイデルベルク大学より、Marc-Philippe Weller副学長、Peter Rammelsberg教授、Christopher J. Lux教授、Alexander Au国際交流部部長が出席し、本学より一戸達也学長、パーシャルデンチャー補綴学講座の小林 裕助教が出席した。セレモニーは、1728年に完成したハイデルベルク大学旧大学南棟にあるベル・エタージュで開催された。ハイデルベルク大学と本学は、ハイデルベルク大学歯学部補綴科のRammelsberg教授とパーシャルデンチャー補綴学講座の山下秀一郎教授および田坂彰規准教授との交流をきっかけに、田坂准教授の長期海外出張、小林助教の海外留学、また姉妹校協定に基づく学部学生派遣を実施しており、今後は、学生派遣のみならず、補綴科、口腔外科、歯科矯正科の分野における研究者間の共同研究等を積極的に実施していくことで合意した。

The Ceremony to commemorate the Sister School Agreement between Heidelberg Faculty of Medicine, Dental School, Heidelberg University and Tokyo Dental College was held at Heidelberg University (Germany) on July 20th. Prof. Marc-Philippe Weller, Vice Rector of Heidelberg University, Prof. Peter Rammelsberg, Prof. Christopher J. Lux, and Dr. Alexander Au from Heidelberg University and Prof. Tatsuya Ichinohe, Dean of Tokyo Dental College and Dr. Hiro Kobayashi from Tokyo Dental College attended the ceremony. We, Tokyo Dental College sent undergraduate students to Heidelberg University last March as an Elective Study Program based on this agreement. We agreed to accelerate the joint research between two institutions continuously especially in the field of Prosthodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Orthodontics.
