Courtesy Visit by Professor Peter Lingström, Head of Institute of Odontology, University of Gothenburg, Sweden

　2023年11月30日（木）、スウェーデンのイエテボリ大学歯学部（Institute of Odontology, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg）からPeter Lingström歯学部長、Carolina Bertilsson先生が本学を表敬訪問され、一戸達也学長、山本　仁副学長、衛生学講座石塚洋一准教授と歓談されました。
　今回の訪問では、2022年10月に締結した学術協力協定に基づく学部学生の相互交流と教員の学術交流について協議するとともに、共同研究の継続についても有意義な意見交換が行われました。また、本学短期大学、口腔科学研究センター、水道橋病院、新館での講義や実習を視察され、両校の交流を深める大変有意義な機会となりました。
　昨年度から始まったスウェーデンでのElective Study Programには、今年度も第3学年学生4名が参加する予定となっております。

　On November 30, 2023, Professor Peter Lingström, Head of Institute of Odontology, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden and Dr. Carolina Bertilsson paid a courtesy visit to Tokyo Dental College (TDC). From TDC, Dean Professor Tatsuya Ichinohe, Vice Dean Professor Hitoshi Yamamoto and Associate Professor Yoichi Ishizuka participated in this event.
　On this visit, we discussed mutual exchange of undergraduate students and academic exchange of faculty based on the academic cooperation agreement signed in October 2022, as well as a meaningful exchange of opinions regarding the continuation of joint research. They also observed our Junior College for Dental Hygienist, the Oral Health Science Center, Suidobashi Hospital, lectures and practical training at the Suidobashi Annex to School Building, which was a very meaningful opportunity to deepen exchanges.
　Next year, four students from TDC will participate in the Elective Study Program in Sweden, which started this year.
